Unless you’re blessed with having a gift wrap station (or room) chances are your method of storing loose bundles of wrapping paper is not up to its optimal potential.  Short of having to create a party corner like this one—although we definitely don’t discourage you from doing so—there are a handful of ways you can tidy up your approach to storing gift wrap, all the while preventing clutter or damaging the paper itself. Read on for a few of our favorite organizational hacks you can easily DIY—you won’t be sorry.

A wire basket (vibrant color ways highly encouraged) helps keep the tubes consolidated while providing a colorful, desk-side accent.

Elongated vases of varying lengths provide ample sources of storage for all – kraft paper and one-of-a-kind wrap sheets included.

Attach a pair of hooks (a few inches greater than the length of the wrapping paper roll) along the length of the wall. Slide a thin rod to sit within the hooks, and string a wrapping tube through each line.

Fasten a 20″ wire cord along the length of a wall, and hook each roll to the line using binder clips or dainty fasteners.

Empty shelf space? Install a set of tension rods at varying heights, fastening each of the wrapping paper rolls at alternating levels.

For the pegboard that doubles as your wrapping station, place a pair of pegs at a tube’s length, to hold your collection in place. Cork boards work just as well!
