Big copper pots, rolling pins, salad tongs, strainers—you can hang almost any cooking tool from a pegboard kitchen wall. It’s no wonder the solution was beloved (and made popular) by supercook Julia Child. “[She] taught us that it’s the most brilliant way to create a space with your belongings,” says our latest cover star, Beverly Nguyen, owner of Beverly’s, which has become known for its Insta-worthy home goods. Think: aesthetically pleasing knives and bottles of olive oil. Despite its practical ways, though, the out-in-the-open organization approach might literally be on the way out.

We recently polled Domino Instagram followers about which trends they were into and which ones they were moving on from, and 71 percent of respondents claimed they’re ready to ditch the exposed display. And it’s okay if you need a change of pace: Here are three other ways to store your cookware that don’t involve a pegboard.

Put Your Pans in a Pull-Out Cabinet

Genius base cabinet pull-out attachments, like the ones designed by Rev-a-Shelf, bring bulky pots and pans to the forefront in one fell swoop.

Hang Up Tools on the Inside of Cabinet Doors

Command Hook your way to streamlined storage with this simple fix (it’s renter-friendly!) that’s ideal for oven mitts, trivets, and two-sided cheese graters.

Clear Out Your Junk Drawer

Replace it with this supertidy ensemble of compartments. While this one is a custom design by Form Kitchens, you can re-create something similar by combining a knife slot and vertical expandable dividers
