According to The Agency, Eva Longoria’s just-listed Hollywood Hills home “exudes country-French charm.” There’s not much about the three-acre property—which includes two separate residences, two studio spaces, and a cottage—that makes us think of a quaint French country escape, but the stunning design features are certainly charming. The residence is on the market for a grand total of $9.8 million.

The actress and activist bought the L.A. home back in 2015 from none other than Tom Cruise. Taking into account the numerous fully renovated residences and the celebrity pedigree, we think the hefty price tag is well worth it.

Starting with the gated, greenery-lined pathway leading up to the residence, the expansive property offers both stunning views of the city and a calming respite from it. Stone walkways and spacious patios make the outdoor parts of the home feel positively Mediterranean. The lagoon-style swimming pool itself is enough to make anyone want to move in.

The main residence, which offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is equally impressive. Wide plank oak floors and whitewashed shiplap pitched ceilings make the rooms feel even more spacious. French doors and windows facilitate an indoor-outdoor feel; the master bedroom even opens directly onto a terrace.

The kitchen appears to have been left largely alone—imagery shows it looking almost exactly identical to the original listing photos from three years ago. The main difference is an updated farmhouse-style table, which acts as the focal point of the space and is no doubt prime for entertaining.

Elsewhere, the other structures of the compound provide ample space to host guests; altogether, the residence boasts seven bedrooms. The future owners might want to look into Airbnb.

And as gorgeous as Longoria’s once-home is, new homeowners stand to benefit even more: There are plans for a comprehensive renovation of the compound by architect Mark Rios, whose grand, large-scale designs have earned him fans like Conan O’Brien and Michael Bay. The best is yet to come.
