Per the latest issue of Elle Décor, the “Shameless” star lives in Los Angeles full-time, but picked up the pied-a-terre—close to her mom’s place—for when she comes home to visit.

With the help of Elle Décor, Rossum teamed up with designer

Antonino Buzzetta

to remodel the 800-square foot space—adding old school architectural touches like coffered ceilings, deep moldings, and an antique fireplace from the 19th century.

The dark wood kitchen is outfitted in custom cabinetry (to conceal unsightly appliances) and a brand-new breakfast bar.

Originally built in 1928, vintage European accents—herringbone-patterned floors, iron-framed casement windows, chandeliers, and lots of Louis XV-style furnishings—are a sprinkled throughout the spread.

Although the one-bedroom co-op offers only one bathroom, it’s filled with lavish details like a Calacatta marble vanity and a stainless steel sink.

Even cooler, the Container Store fully customized Rossum’s bedroom closet for maximum efficiency. We’re guessing if the actress wasn’t always on the West Coast filming she’d def be living in this posh pad full-time.
