As an Artist, my home has always been my most daunting and most exciting canvas. The possibilities are endless..if not always affordable…and as long as I am a living breathing person, my work is never done. This makes life fun, because around every corner is a project just waiting for me. The biggest enemy is often TIME.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE MAKEOVERS IS THE CABINET I PAINTED BENJMAIN MOORE PARADISE PINK Recently, I was in the mood to spruce up some tired pieces around the house…items that could easily be re-painted later, should the spirit move me…and since METALLICS, especially GOLDS are everywhere right now… I started with some Gold Spray paint…

Who has time? Nobody has time. Not even the people that actually get things done…have time! WHICH IS WHY MY FAVORITE MAKEOVERS ARE QUICK COLOR-CHANGE MAKEOVERS…..

Mirrors are great to makeover! I got this one used…loved it green for a about a minute….then changed it!

and while I was there, I spray painted the bottom of the lamp gold too!

I decided to give our upstairs hallway Gallery a little pick me up….

This thrift store mirror was pink… until I got my gold hands on it!

I kept finding more frames… enter… more GOLD!

Then…I painted the Picture Rail Gallery Rods, originally aged bronze…GOLD….

…and the paint chipped Tray from Target … the ironic title of the puppy chewed bookon top is “The Perfectly Imperfect Home” by Deborah Needleman

…I almost forgot the Master bathroom mirror….. this was one of my first transformations…

…and lastly I painted the handles on this dresser and gave the mirror above a spritz!… The Threshold for Target Lamp was already gold!
