Somewhere between traditional retail and e-commerce is a pretty innovative way to shop: show homes. This summer, we took over a dreamy, beachside cottage in Long Island’s Sag Harbor to do just that, converting the space dubbed the Hamptons Shophouse, with the help of interior designer Katie Lydon, into a light-filled oasis with plenty of covetable design details.

Walk inside and you’ll find bold artwork from Minted and crisp textiles from Pottery Barn in soothing tones that channel the nearby landscape. While the design scheme of the home skews neutral, graphic pops of color appear around every corner. The kitchen shelves are fully stocked with vibrant tableware, and sunset-hued linens sit pretty in the laundry room. Wander around a little more and you’ll start to feel completely at home.
