Since your home’s decor is often an expression of yourself, it seems fitting that self-proclaimed collector and Scream actor David Arquette would have a home filled with unique, unconventional, and statement-making items. In fact, the actor-producer’s current aesthetic is something of a movie set—each room a different vignette of bold design and colorful personality.
Enlisting the auction site Everything But the House to be the estate marketplace site that’s hosting his collection, interested buyers could get their hands on everything from this vintage mirrored room divider (final bid $180) to this old school karaoke machine (final bid $21).
Though most items in the sale sold quickly, Arquette admits that it was not easy to let go of the sentimentality of his pieces. “Many of these pieces have value beyond words, but sometimes, you have to grow and leave your giant boots behind so that someone else can walk in them,” Arquette told EBTH of the sale.“I hope these bring you as much tremendous joy as they have brought me.”
A portion of the sale’s proceeds go to nonprofit organization, The People Concern, that designs programs to address the effects of poverty, abuse, neglect and discrimination.
