Since cranberry harvest is right around the corner (the end of September through November specifically), now’s the perfect time to consider the tangy berry when trying a new recipe—like this sweet Bellini.

“I love the unique tart taste and I love the culinary versatility of cranberries,” says Alison Gilmore Carr, Ocean Spray Farmer-Owner. “A good cranberry has a vibrant red color and good firmness and although my favorite way to eat them is straight off the bog, they’re also terrific in sauces, pies, and sorbet.” It also helps that they’re packed with powerful health benefits and nutrients (like Vitamin C, fiber, and manganese).
