Clean beauty is only getting bigger and bigger: Sephora introduced a seal of approval to make clean brands easier to find. On Etsy, searches for natural beauty products have increased 130 percent in the last year. And Anthropologie launched an entire store within a store dedicated to ethical beauty and wellness products.

And gone are the days when going clean used to cost an arm and leg. Now you can find products without irritating and harsh ingredients for as little as $3, thanks to the latest collection from Brandless. The startup was created with the goal of democratizing consumer goods by providing high-quality essentials all at $3—and that now includes beauty products and grooming tools. Not only are they well-priced, the entire lineup is 100 percent cruelty-free, free of sulfates, dyes, parabens, formaldehyde, and nearly 400 other potentially harmful ingredients (listed here in alphabetical order should you need it).

And the products work, too. The six new skincare essentials—which join their already concise lineup of face wash and body essentials—include the Green Apple Facial Toner (which is sans-alcohol—exactly what you want in a toner and smells fantastic), a facial scrub, coconut body butter, and lip balm. Also impressive is their first-ever set of grooming tools, including an eyelash curler, nail clippers, and stainless steel slanted tweezers (a rarity in price when there always seems to be a sea of $20 tweezers at CVS).

While we love Trader Joe’s beauty section, we have to say that Brandless is really giving it a run for its money, especially with their cleanliness and ethical offerings. Have you tried any Brandless beauty or food products yet? Leave a review in the comments.
