Bobby Berk Is Launching a Furniture Collection (and Boy Is It Good)

We are a mere month away from the third season of Netflix’s Queer Eye—and while the show has been on hiatus, its cast members have been busy. Bobby Berk’s latest venture is particularly exciting. The designer just announced the launch of his first-ever furniture collection, in partnership with A.R.T. Furniture. It will officially debut at High Point Market on April 6, but a preview of the exciting collab is available now. Suffice it to say, we’re bookmarking everything.

Aesthetically, the line is a mix of timelessly elegant pieces and items that feel very current. There is cane furniture aplenty, including an armchair and a black cabinet we have our eye on. Mid-century sofas will add sophistication to your living room if you’re in the market for a classic upgrade. There’s something for practically every room in the house—each item embodying the minimalist urban luxury vibe that Berk has made his signature.

“A.R.T. has a long history of producing incredibly beautiful furniture collections,” said the designer in a press release. “From the moment we started working together, I was blown away by their manufacturing capabilities and their commitment to bringing my design ideas to life.”

The feeling is mutual: “Bobby is one of the most talented designers working today,” Jeff Cook, A.R.T.’s CEO, said simply in the same statement.

After its debut in April, Queer Eye fans will officially be able to shop the line starting this fall via select retailers. Looking to change up your space sooner? We spoke to Berk last summer to get intel on all things design, and he shared one very easy-to-follow rule for making a design project feel more manageable: start small.

“Once you’ve got one space done, it kind of motivates you, and [when] that momentum is going, it’s much easier to do more,” said Berk. “Don’t try to take it all on at once because that will just be too much and you’ll end up having tons of unfinished projects.”
