Alert the East Coast—music’s biggest power couple is officially moving to the Hamptons. Well, seasonally at least: Beyoncé and Jay-Z just paid $26 million for the storied Pond House estate in East Hampton, after it spent eight years on the market.

Per Trulia, the seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom residence sits on two acres of land, and includes 203 feet of water frontage on Georgica Pond.

There is also a 17-acre meadow preserve next door, for when the 12,000-square-foot home starts feeling a little cramped. Created by famous architect Stanford White (who is also known for building the arch in NYC’s Washington Square Park) and renovated by Jeffrey Collé, the current estate blends old school charm with luxury contemporary features.

The images of the listing show a relatively empty interior, and we (unfortunately) don’t know how Bey will be decorating. What we do know is that the home sticks to a fairly neutral color scheme, relying on architectural details like hand-milled woodwork and arched wooden ceilings to create an elegant feel.

Marble detailing runs throughout the estate. In the guest house kitchen (because of course there’s a guest house; this one happens to include a living room, full kitchen, and two bedrooms), marble counters offset modern stainless steel appliances and simple white cabinetry. And in the bathrooms, marble selected in Verona, Italy, lends an opulent feel.

Outside, an infinity pool and spa overlooks the nearby pond. Ideal for a Hamptons summer, the pool is surrounded by an outdoor grilling and entertaining area, as well as a wraparound terrace made from Turkish limestone.

This latest real estate purchase comes on the heels of the couple’s first LA home, which they bought earlier this summer for a whopping $90 million. And while this might be their first Hamptons home purchase, Bey and Jay are known Hamptons fans, having previously rented a sprawling estate in Bridgehampton.
