Annie Armstrong is a born and raised Angeleno and floral designer. She is originally from Studio City but now resides on the Eastside of LA. What she loves most about her city is that even after living here for so many years, there is always something new to explore, you literally can’t get bored here! Her whimsical and ethereal design aesthetic is drawn from the inspiration she finds throughout the Golden State. She loves taking weekend road trips to forage native plants and flowers, and is amazed by the never ending beauty that is California. To check out her work you can find her on Instagram at @bestdayeverfloraldesign or on her website.

@dailydosecafe is my all time favorite spot for coffee and a good hang. It’s in the cutest little alleyway in the center of the downtown LA arts district. Any place with string lights, a brick wall, and plants always makes me happy!

You can often find me here, Upstairs at @acehotel. The view is breathtaking and between the peacock chairs, Navajo pillows, and original facades leftover from the United Artist theater, this place is a winner. I will be hosting a pop up floral shop here on October 17-18, so if you’re in the area feel free to swing by!

@individualmedleystore. Ok this place is seriously dangerous for me because I literally want everything. Individual Medley is so perfectly curated and well designed that you can’t walk past without stopping in.

@dinosaur_coffee is a relatively new cafe with a killer iced vanilla latte. I love the curving wood that stretches along the sides of the cafe and the panels overhead. Their living plant wall in the back is also a really nice touch and has a

pink neon sign

that reads, “things will be fine.”

This is the view taken from Upstairs at @acehotel and is one of my favorite views of Los Angeles. The Eastern has always been a big source of inspiration to me, and I never ever get tired of this skyline.
