We’re all about making seasonal decor upgrades, but more often than not they can get expensive. Investing in a quality dinnerware set or swapping out a flimsy patio table for something longer lasting makes sense in the long run, but for when you just need a quick fix that won’t break the bank, we’ve got another idea to start shopping now. Colorful glassware, be it sleek and modern or super retro, is an easy (and inexpensive!) way to spruce up a bland table and bring a fresh look to your kitchen cabinets in the process.

Here, our favorite affordable sets and individual pieces to stock up on now and enjoy year-round.

Assorted Colorblock Flute Glass, set of 4, Urban Outfitters, $30

Four colorblocked flutes in an assortment of tri-tone hues make for the chicest update to any old bar cart or entertaining station. Dress up brunch by serving mimosas or bellinis in these, or save for champagne on the next special occasion you celebrate.

Dip Double Old-Fashioned Glasses, CB2, $5.95

Each of these vintage-inspired glasses was mouth-blown and handcrafted in India to ensure the ultimate attention to detail has been paid. Relatively simple save for a dotted textural design, choose the milky blue or purple hues for a quick pop of color that’ll stand out beautifully against a crisp white tablescape this summer.

Large Green Textured Acrylic Tumblers, set of 4, World Market, $11.16

Okay, so these may technically be acrylic, but the fine detailing mimics the look of glass so well we think the tumblers still count as glassware. Not to mention: These will be harder to break at your next get-together that may feature clumsy guests. We love the slight variation of pattern in each item, and the deep green hue mimics the look of recycled art glass.

Violet Glassware, Zara Home, $4.90-$7.90

Sunny orange is the perfect summer alternative to the ever-trendy yellow. Buy both the tumbler and the wine glasses to make a full matching set and be well equipped for any more formal entertaining occasions you may be hosting in the future.

Ombre Drinking Glasses, Coming Soon, $10

Cute chick unfortunately (or maybe, fortunately) not included. Ombre adds a cool gradient effect to any tablescape—we’re particularly into the pink/orange colorway, which looks like it was inspired by summer sunsets.

Intagande Glass, Ikea, $1.99

Not sure about diving headfirst into vibrant-hued glassware? This one’s for you. Ikea has created the perfect—not to mention, crazy cheap—pale pink glassware that’s sleek, simple, and infuses just the slightest hint of color into your daily life.

Vintage Colored Shot Glasses, set of 6, Etsy, $24

These may just be the funkiest shot glasses we’ve yet to find. A far cry from the ones currently lining most bar carts, which may or may not have been purchased at a tourist trap souvenir shop, these options are sculptural and actually vintage (not just vintage-inspired): According to Etsy shop owner Red Cardinal Treasures, who sells these glasses, they’re from the 1970s.

Stemmed Wine Glass, H&M, $5.99

Air bubbles spruce up this otherwise minimal wine glass, available in a bright turquoise shade reminiscent of the pools and beaches we can’t wait to hit up this summer.

Rainbow Juice Glass, Anthropologie, $8

Looking for a tiny addition to your breakfast bar? Pick up a set of these technicolor juice glasses for a rainbow tablescape that’ll make your mornings more bearable—even if you’re grumpy and absolutely not a morning person.

Hibi Tumbler, set of 4, Kinto, $48

Ideal for elevating your everyday basics, this set of modern tumblers is versatile and comes in a few colorful yet sophisticated options. Make even solo weeknight dinners feel a bit more upscale with stylish glasses in deep plum or warm amber tones.
