How lucky are we? Amy Stone, global marketing and social media strategist at gap, took over our Instagram account as she escaped the city for a weekend in breathtakingly beautiful Sag Harbor. Follow along through this slideshow with Amy and prepare to be envious. Make sure you’re following Amy and domino on Instagram for more stunning adventures!

Greetings from Sag Harbor, New York. I’m @amy_stone, taking over domino’s instagram today to reveal the nautical charm & impeccable decor details of this historic village in the #Hamptons. Where to stay? I suggest @baronscove, a new boutique hotel designed by the talented interior designer @colleenbashaw. Her inspiration was rooted in the whaling history of the town with nods to the village’s various architecture: Greek Revival, Victorian, and Colonial. Those paintings…that caning! It’s a design enthusiast’s dream.

Pinch me…I’m in door heaven! Sag Harbor boasts incredible homes — from palatial mansions to modest cottages. My travel mate @jane_lilly and I were on the hunt for interesting door knockers, perfectly manicured gardens, and quaint courtyards. And of course…our future dream house.

It’s all in the details. The lobby bar at @baronscove is adorned with pineapple printed wallpaper by Studio Printworks, handsome black spindles and molding, gold light fixtures, and classic yet durable textiles by Peter Dunham and Zak and Fox. If you look closely, you’ll find blue, handpainted delf sailboat tiles that frame the roaring fireplace (they date back to the 1800’s!). All that’s missing is a glass of #rosé. (Lamp is Ralph Lauren Home!)

Poolside glamour at @baronscove. There’s nothing better than relaxing right on the water — the hotel is situated directly on the #harbor! Order a #cocktail and enjoy the live piano tunes at happy hour.

Sag Harbor is brimming with antiques shops, cute cafes, and preppy boutiques. One of my favorite spots is Astier de Villatte at Bloom. The exterior is ivy-drenched and inside you’ll find beautiful candles, ceramics, decor trinkets, and more. Sage Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.

Inside Bloom…it’s hard to not move right in. Other Sag suggestions: @sagtowncoffee for iced lattes and croissants, @sylvesterandco for beach baskets and mariner stripe tees, and big olaf’s for a cone of blueberry ice cream on the wharf. – Amy Stone
