If The Voice and Victoria’s Secret don’t work out, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo may have a future in real estate. After re-listing the Holmby Hills estate they picked up in August 2017 for $18 million and putting it back on the market for the marginally higher price of $18.9 million, the couple have sold the home less than three months after listing it with Westside Estate Agency.

The residence eventually sold for the original purchasing price of $18 million. This isn’t the couple’s first attempt at house flipping, either: Levine and Prinsloo listed both their Beverly Hills estate and SoHo loft in 2016. While this 9,200-square-foot home looked like a more than perfect replacement at the time, we’re sure their next place will be equally stunning.

Hidden behind iron gates and a long driveway, the just-sold home offers the requisite privacy for an A-list family. It was built in 1966 and designed by renowned architect Caspar Ehmcke, featuring Ekmcke’s signature blend of indoor-outdoor decor and a simple, open living space.

The mansion includes one particularly unique detail: Two of the five bedrooms are master suites, and both feature large bathrooms with marble accents. One even comes with a chandelier.

Luxe features run throughout the home—starting with the marble floor dramatic foyer (which, naturally, includes another chandelier). Guests are greeted with high ceilings and spacious rooms. The house also boasts massive windows in order to blur the separation between inside and outside.

The breakfast solarium is surrounded by circular glass walls, and is an ideal brunch spot if we’ve ever seen one. It’s located adjacent to the formal dining room, and offers stunning views of the lush garden. There’s also a formal living room, as well as a more casual—well, as casual as $18-million worth of interiors can be—family room that features built-in bookcases and a fireplace.

There are a few slightly questionable elements in the home, like the wall-to-wall carpeting in several rooms, and a kitchen that, while quite large, has cabinets that look straight out of the 1980s. But those are basically irrelevant if you consider the other huge benefit the massive property has: the outdoor space.

At 1.2 acres and overlooking the Century City skyline, Levine’s former estate also contains a stunning, quatrefoil-shaped swimming pool surrounded by tons of greenery, as well as a spacious patio area that’s perfect for outdoor entertaining. There’s even a cabana and two-story guest house.

According to the LA Times, the property was originally listed for $19.9 million by Linda May of Hilton & Hyland before Levine and Prinsloo picked it up. With the much more reasonable price tag of $18 million, we’re hoping the home’s next owners will hire a decorator to put their own spin on the space—and hopefully get rid of that carpeting.
